Vasamuseet (The Vasa Museum) Was within easy walking distance from our hotel. Very impressed with the quality and condition of the Vasa ship. Sitting completely intact except for the very tops of the three masts, and no sails. The museum had many areas on three floors showing the history, construction, life aboard and crew’s personal items too. We took many photos showing the intricate details of the ship, but my only regret with the whole setup was that a photo of the entire ship was impossible as the roof of the building had too many concrete pillars in the way and couldn’t get far enough back to take it all in at once. I’d suggest a dedicated photo platform should be provided for this purpose. Other than that, a very good, interesting experience!
