ABBA The Museum 🗺️

#myhiddengems This summer, I finally checked off a bucket list item by visiting ABBA The Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, and it was every bit as fun as I’d hoped! 🎤 Located on Djurgården, this museum is an absolute must for any ABBA fan or anyone who loves music and pop culture. The entrance fee was 250 SEK (about 22 USD), which might seem a bit steep, but trust me, it’s worth every krona. From the moment you step inside, you’re immersed in the world of ABBA. The museum is super interactive, with lots of fun exhibits where you can sing along to ABBA’s greatest hits, try on virtual costumes, and even take the stage with holograms of the band members! One of the highlights for me was the original costumes, which are just as glamorous in person as they look in photos. The museum does a fantastic job of telling the story of ABBA’s rise to fame, with lots of personal memorabilia, videos, and interviews that give you a real sense of the band’s journey. I also loved the re-creations of famous locations like the Polar Studio, where ABBA recorded many of their hits. 🎧 After the museum, I took a stroll around Djurgården, which is a beautiful island filled with other attractions like Skansen and the Vasa Museum, both of which are also worth a visit if you have the time. Plus, there are plenty of spots to grab a fika (Swedish coffee break) and just enjoy the scenery. If you find yourself in Stockholm, make sure to visit ABBA The Museum.
