Schafberg Mountain Railway

#Hiking Schafberg Cog Railway. It boasts about 100 years of history and tradition. Usually, it runs to the top of Schafberg, but during the winter season from October to March, the Schafberg Cog Railway is closed due to the temperature and snow. It is also closed during other seasons or special circumstances. When I visited Schafberg, the train only ran to the middle. So I got off the train halfway up the mountain and walked hard up to the top. I climbed the mountain along the railroad where the train did not run, but surprisingly, there were no hikers, so it was an enjoyable hike. #Schafberg #Cog Railway #Austria Travel
