Souper Tang Restaurant at Queensbay Mall Penang offers a surprising healthy yet delightful dining experience with its array of tangy flavors and fresh ingredients. We tried the Sesame Oil Ginger Wine and Herbs Chicken Mee Suah with Saeng Gang Wine and the soup was extremely potent, warm and comforting. The noodle had a nice texture and thickness to it that could coat the soup well. Next, we tried the Signature Stone Pot Rice Steamed Over Pork Braised Broth, which we absolutely loved and will go back for seconds. The rice was very fragrant and the ingredients flavourful. The deep fried yam bits added to the crunch which was spectacular. We also tried the Mee Suah Tossed with Wild Mushroom. This unassuming dish which looked so simple was packed with flavours. We could still taste the earthy fresh mushroom and the mee suah which we thought was plain was indeed flavourful. Lastly, for dessert, we tried the Caramel Ginger Beancurd. The beancurd was the smoothest I have tried! The restaurant's cosy atmosphere and friendly staff create a welcoming ambiance for diners.
