Phra Kakusandho, Pai Rong Wua Temple

Phra Kakusandho is a large Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture. It is white and 32 wah high and 20 wah wide. It is enshrined outdoors surrounded by more than 100 Buddha statues. Tourists can see it from afar. The general public likes to pay homage. The four pilgrimage sites are located in front of Phra Kakusandho. It consists of buildings modeled after four important Buddhist sites in India and Nepal: Lumbini Garden, the birthplace of Phra Kakusandho, which is now in Nepal; the Buddha Gaya Stupa, the place where he attained enlightenment; the Sarnath Stupa, which is the location of the Isipatana Deer Park, the place where the first sermon was delivered to the Pancavaggiya; and Kusinara, the place where the Buddha passed away. #Travelwithtrip2024 #PhraKakusandho #WatPhaiRongWua
