Bulgarian Attractions-St. George Church The Church of St. George (Bulgarian: -{Ротонда „Свети Георги}-) is a church in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and the oldest building in Sofia. The Church of St. George was built in the 4th century during the Roman Empire. There is also an ancient Roman ruins behind the church. The location is right behind the presidential palace. It is surrounded by government departments and hotels. It is a very well-preserved ancient church.
