Glamping near the beach!

The Island of Siquijor, an island province located in Central Visayas of the Philippines, is known as a coral island with eye-catching scenery, incredible sunsets, stunning waterfalls and white sandy beaches. The island was declared to be a marine reserve in 1978. There are several fish sanctuaries allowing snorkeling. The many waterfalls and cliff jumping into the sea are great for adventurous visitors. Numerous dive operators cater to some of the best dive sites in the Philippines. Being known as the “Island of Fire”, the Island of Siquijor gives off a glow coming from the fireflies that swarm around the island’s molave trees. The island holds an ambiance that lures in nature lovers and adventurers for its numerous caves, springs and lakes, and archaic churches. The pristine environment and the people’s warm hospitality make the whole island a perfect place for a getaway. Many come to visit local healers who are known to concoct ‘so-called medicines’ to aid the body to heal.” We stayed in Glamping Siquijor. Indeed a glamorous way to camp. we picked the tent facing the beach and it was really nice just to stay outside and stare blankly at the sea and sky. Loved it especially during sunset. Just take note though that comfort rooms are common. They don’t have a restaurant but you can cook there.
