Although there was a selection of Western and local specialties, the variety of food is nothing to shout about. It was rather limited when compared with hotels at this price point (it might be because we were paying a premium for new year’s day during our layover). However, the staff were very attentive and accommodating. There were the standard assortment of bread, pastries, muffin, as well as cereals. For the Western selection, there was an omelette station, and other Western mains included sausages, hash brown, bacon, baked beans, pancakes and grilled vegetables. The local specialties included nasi lemak, dimsum, chicken congee, noodle soup, prata and dhal. Taste wise, it was on the average side. However, we like the ambiance and the fuss free dining option for breakfast.
