Staycay @ Park Royal Beach Road

Not our first stay but it is also not our best stay. This time we stayed in their Club Premier Room which granted us breakfast and club benefits. They did some minor renovations since the time we last came and it does look more modern, especially the lobby! Similar to many other hotels, Park Royal Beach Road club guests have a designated check-in area, which allow you to sit in the lounge while waiting for them to process your check-in. We were there past their check-in timing at 3pm, however our rooms were not yet ready. No late check out was granted until I asked for it since the delay of check-in was on hotel end, I expected a gesture of goodwill as a form of service recovery. As I indicated a birthday celebration for my partner, I thought the delay in check-in was due to them setting up a birthday banner which they did previously when we stayed here. But nope, the room we entered to was empty... They only delivered the birthday cake later in the evening. Nonetheless, the room were new and clean. We would still be back if the price point is decent. Opposite the hotel is Haji lane which is very happening on the weekends and nights.
