Contemporary french food @ merci marcel 🇫🇷

#sginsider this was my first time visiting merci marcel at their orchard outlet — first floor located inside of Palais Renaissance. They are a modern & fusion french restaurant that serves french delights with a twist of asian cuisine. For their specials, we ordered their 5 cheese as appetisers. There was about 10 different cheese for you to choose from, you can ask them for recommendation. They're served with a side of butter and caramelised onion, their portion was abit too small tho. But they do served a generous portion of bread! For our mains we ordered the squid & shredded duck, I would give the squid a pass it was not that amazing, squid was alittle overcook. The duck however was delicious, it had a perfect balance of crisp.
