Underpass Arts Hunting

#artshunting Robertson Quay underground pass It is possible to walk under the bridges along Robertson Quay to cross over the river, other than using the bridge. You might mistake this underground crossing as a pavement because you will not realise that you are in fact walking under the bridge. This underpass can be accessed from the pathway nearest to M Social and walking along towards The Robertson Quay Hotel. It can be crowded with joggers, cyclists and pedestrians and you might also miss out on the arts along this stretch of road. This is an initiative by Singapore River One. From the website: SRO started its first Underpass Art installation project in January 2013 with the goal of using design and culture as the medium for transformation and rebranding the River. Through this project, SRO hopes to enhance the connectivity between all three Quays (Clarke Quay, Robertson Quay and Boat Quay), and encourage exploration along the entire stretch of the Singapore River. Next time, do look around to spot all these arts when you are back in the Robertson Quay area. There are many painting along the river.
