Get close to nature, animals at River Wonders

A fun-filled day at River Wonders, formerly known as River Safari, which is part of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. A river-themed zoo and aquarium. Many different species of marine wildlife and educational boards are displayed to understand more about them. My favourites are sturgeon, stingray and manatee. 🐠 Once Upon River animal show was very engaging and you get to see the laguana, cute capybara and pelican. For those interested to catch the show, the arrangement during my visit was that tickets would have to be booked through a QR code 2 hours before show time. If you do not have a ticket, you can only enter 5 minutes before the show starts and hopefully there are still seats left. The highlight was Giant Panda Forest as I got to see the pandas in action. I caught sight of Kai Kai eating food pellets, Jia Jia chewing on bamboo and Le Le sleeping. 🐼🌳 How to get to River Wonders and back on public transport - Bus 927 from Choa Chu Kang Interchange. - Bus 138 from Ang Mo Kio Interchange. - Bus 926 from Woodlands Interchange, please note that this bus operates on Sundays and Public Holidays before 6 pm. - In addition, Mandai Khatib Shuttle Bus, which goes to and fro between Khatib MRT station and Singapore Zoo.
