spacious and colorful hotel in the west

you don't find alot of hotels in the west, and even harder finding one above 3 stars. genting hotel jurong is serviced by the same hotel chain behind RWS, thus the similarities in choice of theme. room is very spacious, enough space to lay 2 more single sized air mattresses if you get what i mean (but please observe occupancy rules of course) well furnished with a mini bar fridge to keep food and drinks cold during your stay. bathroom is average with decent water pressure, but the towels are horrible. I think the pool towels are better in quality than the ones in the room. gorgeous swimming pool with 3 see-through bottom 'windows', in which people from the hotel lobby can see you swim above their heads. limited cable TV channels but it does the job. no complimentary parking if you drive though. (even though there is a well designed mechanical carpark in the basement.) cheapest parking nearby is at jcube as there is per entry for overnight. typically from 3pm check in to 12pm checkout is priced around $20. if walking might be a concern for you then go ahead and choose to park there as parking fee is capped at $24. overall a surprisingly pleasant stay. with great views of the west from their roof top garden. #staycation #singapore #noteworthy #notexpensive #alldaystaycay #weekend
