🚢 Genting Dream 4D3N – Phuket Adventure! aka: How I ended up eating 5 meals a day 😅

Once you’re onboard the Genting Dream, everything runs on 🌟Genting Points (aka “bi”). Funny how I didn’t even crave certain foods in KL, but on the ship I was willing to spend bi on cup noodles like it’s gold 😂 All expenses are charged to your cabin card and paid at the end of the trip. 🎰 Casino Tips • You can apply for a Genting Card onboard for free (used only in the ship’s casino) • To top up your Genting Card, you’ll need physical cash (SGD) – we had none, but luckily you can exchange inside the casino 🍽️ Up to 5 (even 6!) meals a day, for free • Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner menus rotate daily, with different options at different restaurants • Morning tea / Afternoon tea available at Lido buffet, Deck 16 outdoor – just walk in and grab your food, no need to scan card • Late-night snacks: use your Genting Card to claim free instant noodles 🍜 near the casino (timing varies!) • If you’re still hungry, try Blue Lagoon’s Maggie Goreng – cheap and surprisingly good! 🛍️ Duty-Free Shopping Lots of items onboard: alcohol, perfumes, watches, handbags. On the last day, there’s a flash sale on selected items – great chance to grab souvenirs or gifts. 🌴 Phuket Shore Excursion We joined the SGD30/pax Phuket package, which included transport to a mall + nut shop. 💡We signed up too late, so our bus only went to the mall near Patong Beach (still worth it). • Registration can be done the day before or morning of – we joined after attending the info session • Meet at Zodiac Theatre for departure, the process was very smooth despite the crowd • 40 mins bus ride each way, with a guide and free bottled water • After returning, there’s usually a small bazaar on deck at night 🎲 Tried Bingo for fun! • First person to hit all numbers wins 💰 • Cost: 18 Genting Points per card (3 for 54) — Honestly, if you’re looking for a low-stress holiday filled with food, fun, and sunshine (and a chance to sneak in a little shopping in Phuket), Genting Dream delivers.
