Review of my first trip to Singapore🇸🇬😂

First Singapore Trip Review – A Small but Chic Country! Hello everyone! Today, I will review my Singapore trip in the style of an ordinary person. I traveled by myself in a confused way, with some mistakes and some right ones, but it was full of good memories and laughter. I will tell you in spoken language. It's like chatting with friends. Don't expect to be a professional reviewer. But after reading, I guarantee that you will want to pack your bags and follow me. The story started from wanting to change the atmosphere of life. I have been in Thailand for a long time. I started to feel like going out to find new experiences. I tried organizing my own trip and happened to find a good price for tickets to Singapore. So, I got together with my close friends and booked without thinking much because I thought, "Oh, Singapore is just this close. It shouldn't be difficult." Which actually wasn't difficult. But there were a lot of funny things along the way. Travel day – From the Thai airport to the Land of the Merlion! We arrived at Changi Airport early in the morning. When we stepped foot in it, I was immediately amazed. What kind of airport looks so good? It's like a center of everything: shopping malls, gardens, waterfalls, cafes, and many other things. Just walking around The Jewel was tiring enough to take pictures. The waterfall in the middle of the mall is so magnificent, mom!! I stood there staring for 10 minutes. I still feel like I want to move here. This is my new home. Day 1 – Merlion, I'm here! After checking in to the hotel (a small and cute hotel, the room is perfectly clean but a bit cramped, I have to tilt my head a bit to brush my teeth, haha), we immediately went out. The first destination was Merlion Park. When I saw the Merlion actually spraying water in front of me, I was like, "Oh... I'm really here." I took pictures without any consideration for the Merlion. Both selfies with my friends' cameras and the poses where they spray water into their mouths. Some people even sprayed water on their friends' heads. We couldn't stop laughing. The view of Marina Bay Sands here is also very beautiful. Walking along the bay is the best. The cool breeze and the evening view are so awesome. It's like our life has improved 300%. Day 2 – Enjoying nature but it looks like we've stepped into a sci-fi movie. Today we spent the whole day at Gardens by the Bay. I have to say it was worth it. Because it's really big and beautiful! The Supertrees, as they call them, when we saw the real thing, we were like “Wow… is it this big?” No matter where you take a picture, it looks like you’re a model for National Geographic magazine (but your face is still us, haha). Walking into the Flower Dome is a great feeling. It’s so cool, the flowers are so colorful, like walking into a Disney princess’s wedding. The Cloud Forest is even more amazing. The waterfall is so high that you have to look up until your neck almost breaks, haha. There’s fog, there are trees on the artificial mountain, it looks a little magical, but not too much. In the evening, don’t forget to watch the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show. Play classical music and let the lights on the trees dance to the beat. When the music starts, I almost cry. It’s a good quality show and very romantic (but I still come with my friends, boo hoo). Day 3 – USS, the day of chaos and screaming. This is the highlight of the trip. We went to Universal Studios Singapore. We intended to play everything (but in the end, we didn’t play everything. Because we were too busy screaming and eating). As soon as we got there, we ran to Battlestar Galactica first. It’s a 2-line roller coaster. We chose the most intense one for the challenge. And screamed from the top to the bottom. My friend next to me grabbed my arm until it was bruised. I couldn't get angry because I couldn't stop screaming either. There was a zone called Shrek's Far Far Away that was super cute. The castle was like in the cartoon. Playing 4D was fun. There was water spraying on your face, wind, and a surprise rocking chair. Then we went to Jurassic Park. We went white water rafting and got soaked without any regard for our clothes. But we laughed until we cried. The food there was a bit expensive, but we had to try it. The giant chicken leg that we bought to eat during the break required both hands to lift it. When we bit it, it was like we were a titan. After we were full, there was still some left. Like, "Does anyone want to share...?" Day 4 - Souvenir and spiritual mode On the last day before going back, we planned to go to Bugis Street to shop for souvenirs. And oh my, my wallet was going to burst. There were so many things! Keychains, magnets, food, snacks, accessories, "I Love SG" T-shirts. We bought them without thinking. When we were paying, we thought, "Hey, do I have enough money?" Then we went to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Chinatown to pray. And secretly sat down to rest. The temple is really beautiful, very neatly arranged, and peaceful inside. It was a moment of “May you travel safely, may your life improve”. Although I was tired, my heart was full. I went back to the hotel, packed my bags (because they were too full) and headed back to Thailand. Conclusion: Singapore is a country that is suitable for everyone. For those who are hesitating whether to go or not, we would like to shout out, “Go!” Singapore is a clean, safe country, easy to travel, advanced technology, but the people are lovely and not arrogant at all. Traveling by MRT is the best. It is easy to understand without having to use much brain. The signs are clear at every point. There is a variety of food, from Chinese, Malaysian, Indian to fusion. There are many cute cafes. The milk tea is delicious (but a bit expensive, haha). The experiences from this trip are: - I got to practice planning by myself. - I learned that getting lost is not a bad thing. - I got to meet people from different cultures. - I laughed with my friends until my stomach hurt. - And most importantly… I learned that there are still many things for us to experience in this world. For those who have never been abroad, I recommend starting in Singapore. It is the first country that even beginners can easily travel to and have fun without having to try too hard. ⸻ We will definitely go back again. Because Singapore has made us realize that…true happiness doesn’t have to be big. Just being able to see the world makes us smile. P.S. If anyone reads this far, thank you for reading. I hope you get a promo ticket soon! #VisitSingapore #Singapore #TravelByYourself #GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
