A Hidden Tiramisu Cart in Marina Square

#springitinerary We recently stumbled upon a little gem inside Marina Square—Victoria Bakery. It’s a spot we’ve walked past a few times without really noticing, but this time, something caught our eye: a brand new tiramisu cart, tucked neatly into their bakery space. Naturally, we had to check it out. Victoria Bakery is already known for its Hong Kong-style bakes—those golden, glossy egg tarts with flaky crusts, and soft, fluffy bolo buns that pair perfectly with a cup of milk tea. The space itself is warm and inviting, with marble-top tables, soft lighting, and the kind of calm that makes you want to sit down and stay a while. But this new tiramisu cart adds something a little extra to the mix—a colourful, modern touch that still fits into the classic vibe of the bakery. The cart features an impressive variety of tiramisu flavours. We spotted the familiar classic coffee, of course, but also some more playful and refreshing ones like mango, lychee rose, matcha, and even yam pistachio. Each one is served in a neat little cup, layered with soft sponge and smooth cream, and dusted or topped accordingly depending on the flavour. We tried the lychee rose and matcha. The lychee rose was delicate, light, and floral—almost like a mousse, with subtle fruitiness and just enough rose to be fragrant without overpowering. The matcha was rich and earthy, with a slight bitterness that balanced beautifully against the creamy mascarpone. We’re already eyeing the yam pistachio for next time—it sounds like such a fun flavour pairing. It’s a sweet little surprise to find this kind of variety in a spot that’s already doing well with traditional bakes. It felt like the best of both worlds—nostalgic Hong Kong favourites alongside a fresh, dessert-forward concept that’s perfect for anyone looking to try something different. If you’re in Marina Square and looking for a quiet place to rest your feet and enjoy something sweet, Victoria Bakery is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re in the mood for a warm bolo bun or a refreshing tiramisu cup, there’s something comforting and satisfying about this place that keeps you coming back.
