#SingaporeHotel 👋My dears, I have seen many people complain about Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree in Singapore online before. This time I stayed there for a few days and I want to tell you about my real experience. 🌟Stay Experience We deliberately chose to check in during off-peak hours at night, so there was no long queue at the front desk and it went smoothly. But I have to say that the number of hotel employees is really small. After entering the hotel, the internal route is winding and there is no staff to guide. I was a little confused when dragging my luggage to find the room, and my first impression was discounted 😕. 🛏Room conditions The Rainforest Room we booked was small, and the interior decoration was a bit rough and not well thought out. There wasn't even a bathtub, which was not very friendly for those who wanted to relax in a bath. The rooms are densely packed in the corridor. As soon as you walk in, you're overwhelmed by the cramped feeling. It really looks like a staff dormitory. I have to give a bad review for this ❌. 🍱Restaurant reviews Breakfast and dinner are both buffet style, and there is also the option of in-room dining. To be honest, the buffet has very few food choices, mostly Southeast Asian dishes. The taste is just so-so, and you will get sick of it if you eat too much. On the contrary, the In room dining is amazing and tastes much better. I recommend everyone to try this 👍. 🏋️♀️Facility Highlights The hotel gym is huge, fitness enthusiasts are in luck! There are also two swimming pools, especially the rooftop infinity pool, which has an amazing view and is great for taking photos📷. The swimming pool is open from 7 am to 7 pm, so you can enjoy a swim if you plan your time well. The biggest plus point here is that it is ridiculously close to the Night Zoo and can be reached on foot. It is very convenient to take the kids to see the animals, and it is definitely a blessing for parent-child travel. 🌳Surrounding environment The hotel is hidden in the forest, so mosquitoes are inevitable. Be sure to prepare a strong mosquito repellent spray before coming. However, the room we stayed in was quite clean. At least there were no cockroaches or mosquitoes flying around as described online, so we felt reassured. 📝Summary As a newly opened hotel, its service does have a lot of room for improvement. At this stage, it is more suitable for family outings. At a price of over one thousand yuan, the price-performance ratio is acceptable. But if the price goes up in the future, considering the current service and hardware conditions, it won't be worth coming here specifically to stay.
