No, this is not the Jay Chou movie soundtrack. 菊花台, or Ju Hua Tai, has set up shop at Duxton Hill, specialising in oriental-themed craft cocktails that are almost too pretty to drink. 🥡 Be sure to come in your coolest triad-inspired outfit for some photos by the bar with their Instagrammable neon ceiling light. FYI, it translates to “follow one’s heart desires”, in other words, drink till you can’t take another! 😂 Despite their emphasis on cocktails, they have some seriously good chow! Their 𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐨 platter is amazing, which comes in 6 different assorted buns that are all equally delicious. They’re really affordable considering the portion, and an interesting take to the usual bar sliders. 🍔 They also have Szechuan fare, with the all-time favourite meat skewers that are tender and not too overpowering like those in Chinatown. 🍢 #singaporetrip#food
