Nakey Cafe Singapore

It’s not common to find a café in the heart of Chinatown, where it’s full of tourist traps and Sichuan restaurants. 𝗡𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘆 is the new kid in the block, serving fresh sourdough pastries and coffee. 🍞 Opened by the same team behind @sawasdee.sg, don’t let your impression be ruined just because its sister concept is a Thai restaurant. This café has a modern bold design of wooden and stone accents. We would never have imagined the two concepts are related. This café also specialises in sourdough bakes, with their filled donuts being the signature for now. 🍩 We tried their 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 which has a nice sourdough base, although we would prefer it with an oozy filling. The 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 is slightly more on the milky side, but still creamy. They are currently in their soft launch phase, so do expect more offerings on their menu while they are working things out.
