Lux lounge experience at Shangri-La Hotel SG

Every room reservation at the Valley Wing in Shangri-La Hotel grants you access to the Summit Room, which is essentially a club lounge. This was what my husband and I were looking forward to very much for our staycation here! The lounge serves afternoon tea, evening canapés and cocktails, luxurious premium breakfast and the best part is the all-day champagne. Unfortunately, as we went during the covid period, it seemed that they had put in place some cost-cutting measures. Instead of foie gras and caviar which we saw in previous reviews, we were served tuna sandwiches and processed fried food. The menu we had for breakfast was a special Hari Raya menu that had some items taken out and replaced with seasonal items. I actually wanted to try those items that were taken out so I was rather bummed about it.
