ABC Brickworks Market & Food Centre is one of my favorite spots to immerse myself in Singapore's vibrant hawker culture. Located in the heart of Bukit Merah, this food centre is a treasure trove of local delicacies that offer an authentic taste of Singapore at affordable prices. One of the standout dishes for me is the Hakka Lei Cha. The complex flavors and textures make every bite a delight, and it’s a dish that feels both healthy and satisfying. Another favorite is the Japanese Curry Rice. The tender pieces of meat, soft potatoes, and carrots in a rich, mildly spicy curry sauce poured over fluffy white rice create a perfect harmony of flavors that is hard to resist. For a taste of fusion, the Curry Laksa, Nasi Lemak and traditional Malay snacks are a must-try. From the sweet and chewy ondeh-ondeh, filled with molten gula Melaka, to the soft and fragrant kueh lapis, each bite is a journey through Singapore’s rich culinary heritage.
