This time, I came to experience another five-star hotel in Singapore—the Grand Park City Hall Hotel. Room Type: Deluxe Room Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Close to the city center, but not near the subway station) Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Friendly staff) Transportation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (A considerable walk is required to reach the subway station, and some of the paths are not sheltered) Upon entering, the first impression is that the air conditioning is very cool, which is essential in a tropical region like Singapore. The room is not very large; opening the luggage already occupies almost the entire corridor. However, the clever use of floor-to-ceiling glass in the bathroom increases the sense of transparency. The ground floor is like a garden area with an average view. In terms of transportation, it is not as convenient as imagined. Apart from walking on the road to the City Hall subway station, you can also go through the underground passage of the nearby Funan shopping center, pass through Capitol Singapore, and reach the subway station. Whichever method you choose, it is time-consuming, and since it rains easily in Singapore and there is no direct connection between the mall/subway and the hotel, it is impossible not to carry an umbrella. Additionally, the cleanliness is somewhat average. Although the room is cleaned daily, the crumbs on the table remain untouched, and the room is rather dark, which is concerning in terms of hygiene. In summary, if you hope to visit nearby museums/attractions and shop at the large shopping mall Funan, Grand Park City Hall Hotel is still a convenient choice.
