Where to go for Japanese bentos

This quaint little cafe is located on level 1 in Zhongshan shopping mall along the famous Balestier food street. You can get here by taking a bus from the nearest train station called Novena. The dining atmosphere feels casual and relaxed, although the seats are not really great for long periods. Their specialty here is fusion Japanese bento sets given that they share the dining space with a Thai stall next door. What is really awesome is that they have buy-one-get-one-free options on their menu! Very worth it if you are looking for a cheap but good Japanese meal. The owner of the cafe is also very friendly and shared about the hidden gems to visit in this neighbourhood.
