[Explore SG] Staycation: Fullerton Hotel

Staying in Fullerton Hotel for my birthday celebration was a luxury experience. Other than the gorgeous view from the balcony, I was surprised with a birthday cake and a personal note, which was a lovely touch. I was eager to soak myself in the spacious bathtub, but first, food! Took a stroll over to Marina Bay Sands and dined at Bread Street Kitchen - one of my favourite restaurants because of their bread basket (no longer complimentary, alas). As we returned to explore the hotel a little more, we stumbled upon a stairway leading us to a hidden balcony, where we had the direct view of the magnificent Marina Bay Sands with a Super Moon peeking out to say hi! What a night. 😍 We took a trip down memory lane in a small gallery within the hotel, filled with nostalgic black and white photographs and videos describing its glorious history - including the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s infamous speech held right in front of the hotel.
