Bunnies In The Garden

#citywalk If you are wondering why are there so many cute bunnies on display. This year is the year of the rabbit in the Chinese zodiac calendar. Though usually rabbits are also featured during mid autumn because it is said that they are Chang Er’s companion. (Chang Er is the goddess of the moon and famous for drinking an elixir to prevent an enemy from stealing it.) We think the bunnies lanterns is really cute! Sometimes the lanterns aren’t cute you know. GBTB even made some of the bunnies movable (no touching please). Some of them are seen playing with lanterns, eating mooncakes or simply walking around the gardens under the moonlight.
