Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (Singapore)

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is undoubtedly one of the highlights of a tour to Singapore's Chinatown. Comprising 4 levels built in traditional Chinese architecture, the temple gained its name from the supposed relic of Buddha found in a collapsed stupa. Whether you believe this is Buddha's tooth of not, the exhibit itself can be viewed by public at level 4 of the temple. The basement of the temple contains a vegetarian dining hall that serves free meals to the needy, although covid restrictions means the dining use is either scaled back or suspended.
