Sofitel Hotel Staycay Memorable Fun Time

1. Location Location is definitely a 10/10 for this hotel. Located right next to the MRT, with plenty of food options around, you have to try really hard to not be able to find something you need in the vicinity (except, say, Sentosa or the airport). 2. Hotel The hotel was very tastefully furnished and the cute teddy bears (meant for safe distancing purposes) made the hotel feel less stuffy. 3. Room The room was generally clean, although I saw a strand of stray hair below the shampoo bottle and some sequin left on the bed. The room was spacious and the absolute highlight was the teepee tent for our child which came with our Klook package. Our child was absolutely thrilled with the teepee tent and barred us from entering it... It was a small mattress with an animal-print cloth draped over it. The structure didn't feel the sturdiest but I guess it holds up. We saw a chiller in the room and thought that it could be used to store milk for our child. Later, we realised that it was not cold. Thankfully, the staff were happy to oblige and keep the milk in their fridge. 4. Toilet The toilet was spacious and had a separation between the shower area, the basin area, and the toilet bowl area. The toiletries are from Lanvin- so nice smelling and felt great on the hair- no crazy tangles from the usual hotel soap. 5. Meals As we had 2A 1C and there was a dining in restriction for 2 pax, we decided to have our meals in the room instead. Ordering our breakfast in advance was easy, simply by filling in a form at the counter on the 5th floor. However, I wonder how often they rotate the breakfast items, as the food may become boring after a while. You can choose between the standard Western food (e.g. eggs/chicken sausage/hashbrown), vegetarian food, Asian food (nasi lemak), plain food (e.g. porridge) etc. The amount of food will keep you full for some time, although I have to say that these are the low cost basic ingredients.
