Khao Yai

Khao Yai Thiang is another tourist destination all year round because of the good weather and beautiful view. The highlight here is the large white windmills. These windmills are used to generate electricity for the Lam Takhong Power Plant. At Khao Yai Thiang, there are bicycles for rent to ride around the reservoir 🚲 for only 40 baht each (there are also golf carts). Ride to pay respect to Luang Pho Chet Kasat 🙏🏻, the ancient Buddha statue here, and go see the view of the windmills, see the Lam Takhong Dam, and see the nature around Khao Yai Thiang to your heart's content. Oh! There are also tour buses around Khao Yai. If you have time, you must arrange it. There is no entrance fee for the Khao Yai Windmill Viewpoint. You can drive up to the top. There are restaurants and beverage shops.
