A Comfortable Stay at Siem Reap 101 Residence Hotel

Siem Reap in Cambodia is a place full of history and culture. We chose to stay at 101 Residence Hotel, which is located on Salakomrouk Street in Wat Damnak Village. The location is very convenient, and the famous Angkor Wat is not far away. It is only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the city center, and it is also close to attractions such as Seasons Spa and Khmer Kids Art Gallery. The transportation is very convenient and friendly to tourists! As soon as we entered the hotel, we were attracted by the decoration style, which is a design that combines modern simplicity with traditional Cambodian elements. The front desk staff were very gentle, and their warm greetings made us feel at home. The hotel facilities are complete. In addition to the 24-hour front desk service, there is also a small and exquisite outdoor swimming pool and a massage room that provides comfortable massages. The check-in process was smooth and fast, and we also received welcome drinks and fruits, which was very considerate. The interior of the room was also something I was particularly satisfied with. We booked a double room, and the bed was moderately firm, and the pillows were very comfortable. The room was spacious and well laid out, and it was equipped with ironing equipment, a safe, a coffee pot, and free bottled water. The bathroom facilities were very complete, with 24-hour hot water, a hairdryer, and various toiletries. As long as you call the front desk, breakfast can be delivered to your room, which is very convenient. There are many delicious foods around the hotel. We especially liked the fresh bokator at Georges Rhumerie Restaurant and the Angkor beer served at Haven, which had a very unique taste. The Southeast Asian cuisine at ABBA Cafe was also very satisfying, especially their curry chicken set meal, which is not to be missed! There are many restaurants and bars around, and they are all within walking distance, which is really convenient. Of course, although we had a great time here, there were also some small drawbacks. The biggest one is that the hotel is far from Pub Street, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk there. If you don't want to be too tired at night, it is recommended to take a tuk-tuk. However, this also ensures the quietness of the hotel environment to a certain extent, which is suitable for tourists like us who want to rest. Overall, 101 Residence Hotel is a cost-effective choice. It has a good location, complete facilities, and first-class service. It is definitely a good place to travel to Siem Reap. We will come back if we have the chance!
