A place to learn about the past

The Killing Fields, also known as the Genocide Museum and as Wat Tephothivong Memorial Site, is located in a compound containing a number of buildings. The museum itself includes a series of buildings where text and photos tell the history, mostly focusing on the period of Khmer Rouge rule. Fortunately, it also fills in visitors on the period before that. This allows a better understanding of the sequence of events that led to this particularly cruel period. #trip #travel #cambodia #history
