THERE'S A UNIQUE CAFE OR COFFEE SHOP WITH A VIEW OF THE RAILWAY

There's a unique cafe or coffee shop with a view of the railway. It's easier to access if you take the train, getting off at Jurang Mangu Station. For those driving, parking at UPJ (Universitas Pembangunan Jaya) and walking a short distance is convenient since it's not too far. The place is incredibly unique, both in terms of its building design and its proximity to the river. Visiting here gives off a different atmosphere, especially with plenty of trees providing shade. They open at 8 AM as stated in their bio, but menu items like chicken noodles aren't available yet. It's so picturesque that I was unsure which photo to use for the cover, so I settled for a selfie, imagining I was looking at views from slides 2 to 10 hopefully not too much! I came here with a friend and we ordered toast and cireng (fried snacks). I opted for a manual brew with Arabica beans from Ijen. My friend had iced coffee with milk and palm sugar, as far as I remember. The toast was soft with plenty of chocolate cheese topping. The cireng was really good; I've tried it at several places, but Rummah Go'a has been the best in my opinion. It's crispy on the outside, chewy inside without being tough very easy to chew without extra effort. It came with a perfectly balanced dipping sauce, both in taste and spiciness level. It didn't disappear in a flash! One serving had 10 pieces. My manual brew was also delightful—just right, not too bitter, and quite smooth. It was accompanied by two tasty sago biscuits.
