Tagong Feels Like a Dreamy Tibetan Postcard

You’ve got this awesome mix of Tibetan culture yaks roaming around and snow capped peaks in the distance. It’s quiet but not boring and honestly the vibe is just really calm and kind of magical. The Tagong Monastery is super cool to explore and you’ll probably hear monks chanting if you go early. Locals are really friendly and even if you don’t speak the language everyone’s chill and welcoming. The grasslands around town are perfect for just wandering or riding horses if you’re into that. It’s not polished or fancy but that’s what makes it special. A couple cafes some guesthouses and a ton of natural beauty. If you’re looking to escape the city noise and get a little lost in the mountains Tagong is totally worth it.
