Khao Khlang Nok is an ancient site that has been discovered for a long time among the ancient sites of Si Thep Historical Park, Phetchabun Province, but was just renovated in 2012. Khao Khlang Nok is a large religious site built around the 13th-14th Buddhist century in the Dvaravati period. It is assumed that it was originally a large stupa that could be climbed to the top. Currently, only a large square base made of laterite remains, in a relatively intact condition. There are entrances on all 4 sides, each side is about 64 meters wide, and the height from the base to the top is about 20 meters. It is divided into 2 main levels, each level is about 5 meters high. Each direction has small surrounding stupas, which reflect the belief in the universe and the architectural influence of southern India and Central Java, similar to the Great Buddha. Don't miss it.
