The resplendent chedi

Phra That Rueang Rong is located in Wat Ban Sang Rueang. It was built in 1982 by Luang Pu Thamma Pitaksa to enshrine the relics of the Lord Buddha for the villagers to worship. The relics of the Lord Buddha are in the style of the four ethnic groups: Suai, Khmer, Lao, and Yao. There are 6 floors inside the pagoda: The first floor is an exhibition of folk tales. The second floor is a museum of the four ethnic groups: Suai, Khmer, Lao, and Yao. The third floor is an exhibition of antiques and tools used by the villagers in the past. The fourth floor is a place to rest. The fifth floor is a place to practice meditation. The sixth floor enshrines the hair of an Arahant and is also a place where you can enjoy a beautiful view. The temple here is beautiful. There is a staircase leading up to the relics of the Lord Buddha, allowing us to pay homage to the hair of an Arahant. There are many places around the temple to worship the Buddha. This is a building that combines the art of 4 southern Isan tribes: Lao, Suai, Khmer and Yao. It is 49 meters high and divided into 6 floors. The first floor is a folk museum. #dreamvoyage
