Qiupu River, also known as Qiupu River, Yunxi River, and Guichi River, is a tributary of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, located in the Chizhou section of Anhui Province, China. It originates in Shitai County and has two sources: one from the Xianyu Mountains, which converges with the Guniujiang Mountains and the Nanyuan and Zhuxi Rivers into the Gongxin River, and flows through Tangcun into the Shuanghekou River, with a total length of 43 kilometers; the other from the Dahongling Mountains in Qimen County, which flows into Shitai County, converges with the Hongling River, passes through Diaoyutai, and flows into the Qiupu River, with a total length of 17.5 kilometers. The entire Qiupu River basin is beautiful, with rich natural and cultural tourism resources. There are seven national 4A-level scenic spots, including Qiupu River Scenic Area (rural rafting, Baizhangya Canyon), Guaitan Rafting, Xianyu Mountain, Guniujiang, and Zuishanye. Among them, the Yuxianshan Scenic Area developed in the upper reaches of Shitai County is quite famous. Qiupu River is also known as the "river of poetry" because of the presence of literati such as Du Mu and Xiao Tong, especially Li Bai's "Five Visits to Qiupu" poems and legends. Visitors can experience exciting rafting activities, ride a rubber raft downstream, and enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river. Qiupu River Scenic Area also has a Daughter Village Cultural Experience Hall, Jungle Adventure, Dragon Palace Treasure Hunt, and other attractions. The scenic area is open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
