#springitinerary On the third stop of our Golden Week road trip, we visited the UNESCO World Heritage site Shirakawa-go. We queued for over an hour just to get a parking spot—so plan ahead if you're driving! While Shirakawa-go is world-famous for its snow-covered thatched roofs in winter, spring here offers a refreshing, idyllic vibe with fresh greenery and a tranquil, pastoral charm. It feels like a hidden paradise straight out of a storybook 🌿🏡✨ Important tip: You can’t drive up to the observation deck. You’ll need to walk or take a shuttle bus. The walking path is easy and takes less than 15 minutes—I definitely recommend walking so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings along the way 🚶♀️🍃 #naturalwonders
