Yilong Lake (异龙湖) in

Yilong Lake (异龙湖) in 石屏 is a beautiful spot where you could easily spend the whole day strolling around. It’s a large freshwater lake in Shiping County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan, with a surface area of about 32 square kilometers (12 sq mi). The scenery is stunning, especially when the colorful lotus flowers are in bloom. The lake reflects the blue sky like a giant mirror, creating a calm and peaceful vibe. It’s also a great place to hit your 10,000 steps on your tracker, and the sunsets are really pretty. It’s definitely worth visiting twice—once in the morning and again in the evening (but best to skip noon time).
