Hanamomo no Sato

On May 4, 2025, I went to the #Hanamomomatsuri festival during Golden Week. This year, because of the cold weather in April, the lady at the shop told me that the flowers were blooming later than usual. This was my first time seeing a flower peach, but the petals overlap like double cherry blossoms, and it is a very beautiful and gorgeous flower. The flower peach blossoms planted on both sides of the road were very beautiful from a distance and up close. The flowers came in three colors: white, light pink, and dark pink. Even flowers blooming on the same branch had different colors such as white and pink, making them colorful and mysterious flowers. On this day, there was a strong wind blowing at times, but the petals flew up and I was able to take a very emotional video. I was able to spend a wonderful time. My elderly mother (80 years old) was with me, but she had no problem walking and was happy to be able to take good photos with the flowers and her grandchildren. I think it would probably take about 30 minutes to go around the shortest route. If you want to see more, you can walk further. There is plenty of parking, and security guards are on hand (1000 yen). There are also toilets. It was during the Peach Blossom Festival, so there were stalls selling meat, soba, ice cream, dumplings, etc. The large dumplings grilled over charcoal were very delicious. The same shop also sells plum juice. The owner, who likes unusual things, tried it, and said that the plum juice was a delicious, sour juice that was somewhere between a plum and a peach. In the back, there was a shop selling seedlings, and they also sold many peach seedlings. The shop staff were very kind and gave us a lot of information.
