Retro Village Ouchi-juku @ Fukushima

This former post village along a trade route connecting cities in the past still retains its atmosphere, with its thick thatched-roof houses, making it feel like you've stepped into an ancient painting. During winter, the entire village is blanketed in snow, transforming it into a beautiful, fairytale-like scenery. Every corner of the village is picturesque, and the atmosphere is peaceful, charming, and uncrowded. A must-try dish is Negi Soba, made with giant green onions instead of chopsticks! The fun part is the way you eat it, lol. Finally, if you can't eat it, you can ask for chopsticks. 🚊 From Aizu-Wakamatsu Station, take the Aizu Railway to Yunokami Onsen Station.
