Shijiazhuang Pilu Temple

[○] Pilu Temple was first built during the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, and has a history of more than 1,200 years. [○] Its murals are known as the "Four Great Murals of Ancient China" together with the murals of Beijing Fahai Zen Temple, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, and Yuncheng Yongle Palace. [○] Sakyamuni Hall Built in the Ming Dynasty, the hall houses a clay statue of Sakyamuni from the Ming Dynasty, and the disciples on the left and right are colored sculptures from the 1980s. On the back is a group of small hanging sculptures of Mount Xumi, and on both sides are pavilions, towers, arhats and guardians. In the middle are the original sculptures of the three great bodhisattvas from the Ming Dynasty. In the middle sits Guanyin, with Manjusri on the left and Samantabhadra on the right. Below them are their respective mounts, namely the one-horned roar, the six-tusked white elephant, and the blue-haired lion. [○] Pilu Hall The murals in Pilu Hall are national treasure-level water and land-themed murals, covering an area of ​​122 square meters, divided into 122 groups, each group of characters is clearly marked and arranged symmetrically.
