Nature walk along the Longhua river

The Longhua river is right on my doorstep, small spillway rivers flow into this larger river. This urban river is full of twists and turns, areas of sand banks, small waterfalls and bridges. Along its length you will find both birds and people fishing. The white Egret bird is a staple of this river. If you look carefully you may spot a blue kingfisher too. There are many small and large fish in this river, in some areas at certain times of year if you look into the river you can see many circular patterns which are little fish nests where they lay their eggs. I biked past the Guanlan Wetland Park which has many types of flowers and plants and a large viewing island covered in plants and flowers. Many large fish swim along the side of the wetland park as guests throw food for them. #passionpassport
