The Top of Shenzhen at the Ping An Finance Centre

Standing on the observation deck of the Ping An Finance Centre, you’re literally on top of one of the tallest buildings in the world — and the views are breathtaking. From up here, you can see all of Shenzhen, the mountains in the distance, and even into Hong Kong on a clear day! What made the experience even cooler was seeing the mass tuned damper — a massive piece of engineering that helps stabilize the tower against wind and earthquakes. It’s not something you get to see every day, and it added an unexpected educational twist to the visit. There were certain times that people were allowed into see the damper, but it went pretty smoothly. The elevators are super fast (your ears will pop!), and everything is clean and well-organized. Great spot for skyline photos and to just appreciate how far Shenzhen has come. #china #travel #shenzhen
