I hadn't visited before because of its slightly remote location. This time, as I had a connecting flight the next day, I found it was only a 20-minute drive from the airport, so I decided to check in. 1. Booking and Check-In I booked a Deluxe King Room. As my Hilton member tier isn't high, I didn't expect a room upgrade. However, this hotel treats Gold members very well. The front desk proactively upgraded me to a King Bay View Room, which had a walk-in price of CNY 2,800 that day. This thoughtful gesture immediately impressed me. 2. Room Experience 1. Room Type/Layout: The Executive Bay View Room is divided into four areas: the entrance hallway, bathroom, bedroom area, and sofa/bar area. The division is reasonable, separating activity and rest areas. From the moment you enter, you can feel the comfort and thoughtfulness of the layout. Whether resting or relaxing, there's no interference between the areas. 2. Amenities/Facilities: The bedding is extremely comfortable, and pillows can be chosen based on personal preference. The mini-bar in the Executive Room is complimentary. The welcome fruit provided upon check-in was not only plentiful but also beautifully arranged. The toiletries are the same brand used by InterContinental Hotels, and the shower and faucets are from a top Italian brand, showcasing high-end simplicity and design. The rubber ducky in the bathroom and the teddy bear on the bedside are gifts for guests to take home, a very heartwarming touch. The room's large floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Qianhai Bay and the park. You can quietly enjoy the sunset and watch planes fly overhead, a truly relaxing experience. 3. Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing is excellent. Once the door is closed, the outside world seems to disappear, allowing you to enjoy a quiet, private space. The cleanliness is impeccable; every corner of the room is spotless, reflecting quality in every detail. 3. Hotel Facilities The hotel's gym and pool are standard but meet basic exercise and leisure needs. It's a pity that due to low occupancy, only part of the breakfast area was open, and the selection was limited. However, the breakfast is semi-buffet style, with some hot dishes cooked to order and bread, yogurt, and other basic items available on the buffet. The variety is decent, and the service is attentive. 4. Hotel Service Free parking and luggage porter service are a given. The Executive Lounge offers panoramic views, and the art display wall exudes elegance. The desserts and drinks are exquisitely made. The turndown service is meticulous, with scattered clothes neatly folded and placed at the foot of the bed, and slippers thoughtfully placed at the entrance for changing shoes. These details truly demonstrate the hotel's dedication to service. 5. Location The hotel is located on Tinghai Avenue in Nanshan District, next to subway line 11. Parking in the underground garage is free. It's within walking distance of the One Avenue commercial complex, making travel and shopping very convenient. 6. Average Cost The average price per night is CNY 3,000.00+. While not cheap, considering the unique bay view, excellent facilities, and high-quality service, the price-performance ratio is quite high, making it worth the experience. 7. Other Tips The water feature and the giant human sculpture "White Night" at the hotel's drop-off area are popular photo spots. The suspended red maple tree at the first-floor entrance is also unique. The swirling staircase adorned with colorful glass lights in the fifth-floor lobby creates a sense of wonder and is a perfect place for taking photos. As expected of a YABU design, this art-filled hotel is definitely worth a visit.
