| Happy Harbor Guide. If you only have one day in Shenzhen, Happy Harbor is a must-see! It's a 1.5-hour drive from Dongguan, and is a great place to relax by the sea and take the kids. In the morning, head to the Bao'an Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Check out the exhibition on the second floor, and the interactive games on the third floor. If you get tired, head to the library on the first floor. It's free and no reservation is required. It's an 8-minute walk to Happy Harbor. Have lunch at East Coast Commercial Street, then head to the most beautiful bookstore in Shenzhen, Zhongshuge. The red spiral bookshelves are amazing, and the children's picture book area is very cozy. The Bay Glory Ferris Wheel is a must-see. The space capsule cabins offer a 30-minute view of Qianhai Bay. Then take a stroll along the Seaview Walkway, where the sea breeze and sunset are sure to heal you. You can also rent a scooter at Binhai Cultural Park to explore the coastal trail, or camp at Celebration Square. In the evening, watch the amazing water show. On weekdays, the music fountain is at 7:30 pm and the water show is at 8:00 pm. On weekends, the music fountain is at 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm, and the water show is at 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm. ⚠️ The children's park and other areas are under construction and will open at the end of June next year. If you have time, you can also go to the Performing Arts Park to play in the water and catch crabs. 📍 Happy Harbor is free. Drive to Binhai Cultural Park Parking Lot (P3 is cheaper), or take Metro Line 5 to Linhai Station/Baohua Station, which is 10 minutes away. Go for it!
