Even the guest rooms have two bottles of fresh hydrangeas, which is a decoration rarely seen in other hotels. The hotel's restaurant is also well-decorated, making it look exquisite in photos! There are also disadvantages. Compared with other hotels designed by Ji Lao (Park Hyatt Shanghai, Rosewood Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou), this Andaz lacks the texture of details. The paint on the materials is very rough, and the hardware in the room is not good. The same washbasin in the Diplomat Suite of Park Hyatt Shanghai is made of copper, but here it is very ordinary. It is estimated that the owner cut the budget in the later stage, no wonder Ji Lao did not attend the opening. The workmanship of this Andaz in terms of details reminds me of Marriott, which is not supposed to happen.
