Shenzhen Lychee Park

Located near Diwang, between two subway stations (Hongling and Hongling South), Litchi Park has convenient transportation and not too many people. It is a good place to relax and stroll on weekends. It is said that the garden was built on the basis of the original 589 old lychee trees and a low-lying rice field. It follows the old-school Chinese garden style, emphasizing winding paths, poetry, couplets, calligraphy, pavilions, arch bridges, flowing water; coconut and bamboo groves, and the lychee forest are indispensable. There are tall buildings scattered around, but not densely packed. Walking along the paths in the park, you can really feel like you are in an old city. The north gate parking lot is not open to the public. There is a small parking lot at the east gate, but I’m not sure whether it is open to the public. The west gate faces the Ancient Art Museum of Shenzhen Museum. The southernmost end of the park is Shenzhen’s famous Deng Xiaoping Portrait Square.
