Dawan Hakka village

Located at Dawan District, Pingshan, Shenzhen This Hakka Village is the newest addition to the featured preserved neighborhood in East of Shenzhen. (on the list with Ancient city of Dapeng) Old ruins where you can have a glimpse of how the early Chinese lives in Dawan. Pretty wide place to explore I must say. According to the history, the village was owned by the famous and rich family of Zeng. Consisting of 400 rooms, the big family of Zeng lives there. As of now, the Pingshan Media Center conducts free trips to Dawan for expats living in Shenzhen to promote the place. A whole day trip from CBD to Pingshan. A good trip indeed.
