Shennongjia Sightseeing

Shennongjia Scenic Area is a vast primitive forest and currently a national 5A-level tourist attraction. As a center of plant diversity, it fills a gap in the World Heritage List while preserving crucial ecosystems for numerous rare and endangered animal species. The heritage site hosts many rare and threatened species, such as the golden snub-nosed monkey and the world's largest amphibian, the Chinese giant salamander.
