Setting off to find the colors of autumn at Shaoxing Chahu Bitang

Lakes and rivers show different colors under different weather conditions. For example, when we went, it was cloudy (with faint light). But no matter the weather, traveling with good friends makes every place joyful. - 🍂 Shaoxing Angsang Lake (Chahu Lake) ⌚️ Afternoon of Sunday, October 19, 2025 📍 Bifengtang, Huanhu Road, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province - ☑️ Shaoxing Chahu Lake At first, after seeing posts online, I wanted to extensively explore the lake surface from different perspectives. After seeing so much, I felt I had an all-knowing view and wasn’t very expectant. Only when I arrived here did I feel this is truly a place of small bridges, flowing water, and homes, not overly commercialized. There wasn’t a single shop nearby, and at the entrance, local residents had their own orange trees. Scattered people lingered here, and walking from left to right, my mood improved. ☑️ Autumn Oranges 🍊 At the entrance, I bought golden, yellow, and some greenish mixed oranges. When tasting them, they were very flavorful. After eating them for a few days at home, I felt I hadn’t bought enough. Carrying the oranges by hand all the way, I didn’t expect they would become a bright prop for photos and I even gave some to passersby. ☑️ Autumn Wind The specific weather varies each year. When we went, it was the day before a sudden temperature drop. It’s recommended to wear thicker clothes, at least a windbreaker, and something warm to avoid feeling chilly. Autumn wind is cooler than summer’s; wearing thicker clothes can help avoid the chill. If staying outdoors for a long time, it’s advisable to wear a hat. - ✏️ Tips ① When driving, pay attention to the situation at intersections. Follow the lead of the cars ahead and avoid roads that don’t seem right. ② Local fruits are definitely worth buying; they are really delicious and very affordable. ③ Going with good friends turns every place into the most beautiful scenery.
