Took Xinxin to Shantou for a foodie adventure Preferring a quieter location, we chose a riverside hotel on Nanbin Road 🏨 with beautiful river views Just 15 minutes by car 🚗 to Longyan Road Food Street 🏠 Chaos Jewel Intercity Hotel ⭐️ Newly opened - clean, cozy, and excellent service ⭐️ River-view rooms offer stunning scenery ⭐️ Mini-fridge stocked with complimentary drinks, tea, and coffee ☕️ ⭐️ Second floor features laundry, gym, and restaurant 🍴 - enjoyed their diverse and tasty breakfast buffet ⭐️ Adjacent to Zhenbao Museum and Historical Culture Museum After check-in, we took a DiDi to the ferry pier ⛵️ for Xinxin's first boat ride, catching sunset views from the water. Evening was spent feasting at Longyan Road Food Street: ✅ Rui Jiao Mama Chaoshan Raw Marinated Seafood - highly recommend the crab congee 👍 ✅ Downstairs Chicken Wings - exceptional fermented tofu-flavored wings ✅ A Cup of Chaozhou Tea - seems everyone's holding one ✅ Puning Sweetened Yam & Taro - salted egg yolk and sweet potato 🍠 were favorites (though a bit rich) Ended the day admiring Xiaogongyuan Park and Shantou Post Office's night views～ Shantou is truly perfect for family trips!
